Watch Vitor Belfort TKO Dan Henderson with head kick in second fight in trilogy

There is avenging a loss, and then there is what Vitor Belfort did to Dan Henderson two years ago.

The first time Belfort and Henderson fought, Henderson walked away with a unanimous decision win at PRIDE 32 in Las Vegas in October 2006. Adding a little insult to things, Belfort tested positive for elevated testosterone after the fight.

But seven years later, when the two finally got back together, Belfort was coming off back-to-back “Knockout of the Night” wins stemming from kicks to the head. He had momentum, and he put that momentum to work in front of his home fans in Brazil at UFC Fight Night 32.

For the third straight fight, Belfort won courtesy of a kick to the head, and he became the first to finish “Hendo” with strikes.

In less than two weeks, with their rivalry knotted at 1-1, Belfort (24-11 MMA, 13-7 UFC), who’s ranked No. 5 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA middleweight rankings, and No. 14-ranked Henderson (31-13 MMA, 8-7 UFC) go at it in the rubber match.

Their trilogy fight headlines UFC Fight Night 77 on Nov. 7 at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo. Following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, the rest of the card airs on FOX Sports 1.

But first, check out their second fight above.
