Former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks has had a rough year, but got some surprising news this week. He’s the father of three children and will be welcoming a fourth, a son, into the world in 2016. It was a surprise, but a welcome one, as Hendricks and his wife, Christina, currently have three daughters.
Hendricks lost his title in his first title defense in a rematch against Robbie Lawler at UFC 181 in December. Although he rebounded from the loss with a one-sided win over Matt Brown. “Bigg Rigg” was unable to make weight for his most recent scheduled bout due to weight cutting issues. As a result, his UFC 192 bout against Tyron Woodley was removed from the fight card. It was supposed to be the co-main event.

All of that disappeared from his mind when he got the news while recently out to dinner with his family.
