Pic: Conor McGregor gets a new tattoo (sorry, no cat butts)

I got more ink.

The colorful canvas that is Conor McGregor’s upper body has a new addition, the UFC interim featherweight champion recently unveiled.

Thankfully, it’s animal-free.

McGregor, who headlines UFC 194 later this year, posted the above photo (via Instagram), showing “MCGREGOR” and “NOTORIOUS” on the upper and lower portion of his midsection.

The new ink comes nearly five months after his belly tattoo of a tiger:

The tiger prompted a stellar Photoshop job from fellow UFC fighter Angela Hill (via Twitter):

Up next for McGregor (18-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC) is a title-unification bout with reigning 145-pound champ Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC). The pay-per-view bout headlines UFC 194, which takes place Dec. 12 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The fight, which could create one of the biggest events in UFC history, features the world’s top two 145-pounders. Aldo is ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA featherweight rankings (and No. 3 pound-for-pound). McGregor is ranked No. 2 at featherweight and No 14 pound-for-pound.

McGregor recently opened as and remains a nearly 2-1 favorite over Aldo, who’s posted seven UFC title defenses over his four-years-plus title reign.
