A lightweight bout between Stevie Ray (18-5 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Mickael Lebout (14-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is the latest addition to October’s UFC Fight Night 76 event in Ireland.
UFC officials today announced the bout.
UFC Fight Night 76 takes place Oct. 24 at 3Arena in Dublin. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass.
Ray, a 25-year-old Scottish fighter and former Cage Warriors champ, looks for his third consecutive UFC victory and fifth straight win overall. Since joining the UFC earlier this year, he’s posted back-to-back TKO wins over Marcin Bandel and Leonardo Mafra. The latter victory earned him a “Performance of the Night” bonus and made it 14 stoppages in 18 career wins.
He now meets Lebout, a 28-year-old French fighter who fights in the UFC for the third time. After posting a six-fight winning streak on the European circuit, he signed with the UFC and suffered a decision loss to Sergio Moraes in his promotional debut. However, he recently rebounded in July with a decision victory over Teemu Packalen.
