UFC Fight Night 73: Glover Teixeira vs. Ovince Saint Preux video highlights

NASHVILLE – Ovince Saint Preux wasn’t able to get it done in front of his hometown fans, getting submitted by a Glover Teixeira rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night 73.

The light heavyweight bout was the main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 73 event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.

Saint Preux (18-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC) came out strong in Round 1, stinging Teixeira (23-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) with a hard body kick and throwing some solid punches as the Brazilian looked to recover. Teixeira was able to recover and he utilized takedowns and jiu-jitsu to wear down, beat up and eventually submit Saint Preux at the 3:10 mark of Round 1.
