WSOF 22 Fighter Salaries: Marlon Moraes Tops the Payroll


Marlon Moraes defended his World Series of Fighting bantamweight title on Saturday and was the top earner from the WSOF 22 fight card. The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the payouts from the Aug. 1 event to MMAWeekly.com on Monday.  Morales banked more than the two main event fighters, Rousimar Palhares and Jake Shields, combined.

Rousimar Palhares: $80,000 (includes $40,000 win bonus) def. Jake Shields: $35,000

Marlon Moraes: $140,000 (includes $70,000 win bonus) def. Sheymon Moraes: $10,000

Clifford Starks: $20,000 (no win bonus) def. Mike Kyle: $10,000

Abubakar Nurmagomedov: $3,000 (includes $1,500 win bonus) def. Jorge Moreno: $1,000

Islam Mamedov: $8,000 (includes $4,000 win bonus) def. Jimmy Spicuzza: $3,000
