Former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir continued his resurgence at UFC Fight Night 71 last Wednesday, and his hefty payday reflected the longevity of his career.
Mir fought a back-and-forth, albeit brief, battle with Todd Duffee, but ended up on the winning end of the slugfest, leaving Duffee face down on the canvas. It was the twenty-seventh fight of his career and his twenty-fifth in the Octagon.

The victory earned Mir a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, but that paled in comparison to the $200,000 salary he got for taking Duffee out.
UFC Fight Night 71: Mir vs. Duffee took place on Wednesday, July 15, at the Valley View Casino in San Diego, Calif.
The Nevada Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries to MMAWeekly.com on Monday.
