Teemu Packalen in for Jake Matthews against Mickael Lebout at UFC Fight Night 72

Jake Matthews (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has been injured and is out of his UFC Fight Night 72 bout with Mickael Lebout (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Teemu Packalen (7-0 MMA, 0-0) will step in for the lightweight bout and face Lebout on short-notice.

The change was announced on the UFC UK Twitter account.

UFC Fight Night 72 takes place July 18 at SSE Hydro in Glasgow. FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass are expected to carry the card. The bout order is expected to be finalized soon.

Finnish fighter Packalen will make his UFC debut in the bout. He has a perfect record since his October 2012 professional debut. All seven of his fights have ended by knockout or submission with no fights making it past the second round.

Lebout, a 27-year-old Frenchman, recently made his UFC debut and suffered a decision loss to Sergio Moraes. The setback halted a six-fight winning streak for the veteran of the European fight circuit.
