Josh Koscheck Signs with Bellator, Calls Out Paul Daley

Josh Koscheck Signs with Bellator, Calls Out Paul Daley

Former UFC welterweight contender Josh K0scheck has signed a deal with Bellator MMA, the organization announced during their Bellator 139 broadcast on Friday.

Koscheck, who in March fought his last fight on his UFC contract, becomes the latest fighter to leave Dana White’s roster for the Bellator cage. The fighter followed up the broadcast announcement with a message for one of his former opponents.

“Started my career on #SpikeTV & I’m going to finish my career here!!!” Koscheck wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @ScottCoker for believing in me! Only thing I want to do next… is bitch slap Paul Daley one more time!! Remember the ass kickin I gave you?!!”

Koscheck began his career as a contestant on the original season of “Ultimate Fighter” and then had a 10-year run in the organization. At 37 years old, most thought Koscheck would retire from MMA, but the Bellator signing puts a stop to that train of thought.

In calling out Daley, Koscheck recalls the time he defeated the striker at UFC 113 in 2010. While Koscheck beat Daley by unanimous decision, the most memorable moment has to be after the fight when Daly punched his opponent and was effectively banned from the UFC.

A date for Koscheck’s Bellator debut was not announced.
