Boxing: Gennady Golovkin-Marco Antonio Rubio Salaries, Judging-Referee Assignments

When Gennady Golovkin enters the ring Saturday to face Marco Antonio Rubio, it now amounts to a non-title catchweight bout.

The card, entitled “Mexican Style,” airs on HBO (10 ET/PT) and features the middleweight main event and is supported by a WBA “super” featherweight title fight pitting Nonito Donaire against Nicholas Walters.

The California State Athletic Commission released the salaries as well as the judging and refereeing assignments for the card to Sherdog.com. The event takes place at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

As is expected, “GGG” will take home the largest payday of the night, banking $900,000 for showing up. His opponent, “El Veneno,” will earn $350,000, $100,000 less than he would have earned if he didn’t miss weight by 1.8 lbs. yesterday.

Below are the salary, as well as judging and referee assignments for the main card. Keep it locked to Sherdog.com for full coverage and play by play of tonight’s event.

Gennady Golovkin: Salary: $900,000
