One FC’s welterweight Champion Ben Askren had some harsh words for the world’s largest MMA promotion, the UFC and it’s President Dana White on Inside MMA Friday night. Askren has never been one to hold his tongue but when host Kenny Rice spoke up to Askren about how UFC is the top level everyone wants to get to, they went into a debate. Askren of course took to Twitter afterwards. AXS TV Fights Boss, Andrew Simon offered an apology to Askren afterward, also via Twitter.
Hey @mcuban I thought @InsideMMAaxstv was an independent MMA news source. Better check how much @KennyRiceSports is taking from UFC

Hey @KennyRiceSports I think that is what @KingMoFH would call some @ufc dick riding. keep an open mind brother, times are changing

Hey @InsideMMAaxstv in light of @KennyRiceSports being soo disrespectful I challenge him to a debate on economics and future business of MMA — Ben Askren (@Benaskren) September 6, 2014
Hey @mcuban let me debate your disrespectful @InsideMMAaxstv host Kenny Rice on the economics of global MMA! Bet I take him to school.

@KJGould you would think that a free speech guy like @mcuban wouldn’t have a host who cuts people off right?? — Ben Askren (@Benaskren) September 6, 2014
