Iuri Alcantara vs. Russell Doane Bout Completes UFC Fight Night Brasilia Fight Card

A bantamweight match-up between Iuri Alcantara and Russell Doane completes the UFC Fight Night 51 fight card slated for Sept. 13 in Brasilia, Brazil.
UFC officials announced the latest bout on Thursday.
Both men are trying to work their way into title content for the belt currently wrapped around TJ Dillashaw’s waist.
Alcantara (30-5) enters the fight having won back-to-back bouts in his last two outings. His victories over Wilson Reis and Vaughan Lee represent a strong rebound after a disappointing unanimous-decision loss to Urijah Faber last year.
Doane (14-3) is currently on a three-fight winning streak, including his first two UFC bouts. He debuted in the Octagon by defeating Leandro Issa and followed that with a narrow victory over Marcus Brimage.
The two meet in a support bout for the UFC Fight Night 51 headliner between heavyweight Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.
