UFC officials announced the fight early Thursday morning. UFC Fight Night Sweden takes place in Stockholm on Oct. 4 and includes a welterweight matchup pitting Amir Sadollah against Nicholas Musoke, as well as a light heavyweight showdown between Ilir Latifi and Jan Blachowicz.
Taisumov, who previously competed for M-1 Global, won his UFC debut against Tae Hyun Bang at UFC Fight Night “Saffiedine vs. Lim” before losing to Michael Prazeres at UFC Fight Night “Shogun vs. Henderson 2.” The loss brought a four-fight winning streak to a close for the man known as “Beckan.”
With 12 of his 13 fights ending by way of submission, Bandel will be making his UFC debut with some hype surrounding him. “Bomba” currently rides a 12-fight winning streak, with all of his scraps taking place in Poland or Germany.
