Dennis Siver will face Robert Whiteford at UFC Fight Night in Sweden when Siver returns from a nine-month Nevada Athletic Commission-mandated suspension this fall.

In his most recent outing, Siver defeated Manny Gamburyan via unanimous decision at UFC 168 in Las Vegas on Dec. 28. After the bout, the Russian-born German tested positive for human chorionic gonadotropin (hcG), a fertility drug for women which can also be used to increase testosterone production in men. As a result, Siver’s win was changed to a no contest, he was suspended for nine months and fined 30 percent of his purse.

Prior to facing Gamburyan, Siver was knocked out in the third round by Cub Swanson at UFC 162, ending a two-fight winning streak for the 35-year-old. Siver is 10-6 in the Octagon overall, including wins over Spencer Fisher, George Sotiropoulos, Matt Wiman and Diego Nunes.

Whiteford, meanwhile, is 1-1 in two promotional appearances. The 31-year-old Scotland native debuted with a submission loss to Jim Hettes in October before outpointing Daniel Pineda at UFC 171.

The UFC returns to Stockholm on Oct. 4 with a card that also includes a welterweight clash between Amir Sadollah and Nicholas Musoke. No headliner has been announced for the event.
