FOX Sports officials today announced that Chris Lytle will join the broadcast team for next week’s “UFC Fight Night 45: Cerrone vs. Miller” event in Atlantic City, N.J.

Lytle will make his debut at Tuesday’s weigh-ins show, which airs live at 4 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 2. He’ll also be part of Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 45 pre-fight (6 p.m. ET) and post-fight (approx. midnight ET) coverage on FOX Sports 1.

Jon Anik and Brian Stann will call the fights on FOX Sports 1, while Kenny Florian, Daniel Cormier and Karyn Bryant join Lytle in handling analysis of the card.

The 39-year-old Lytle retired from active competition following and August 2011 win over Dan Hardy. The Indiana-born fighter became a fan-favorite over the course of his 12-year career, bagging an incredible six “Fight of the Night” bonuses, along with one “Knockout of the Night” and three “Submission of the Night” awards.

Earlier this year, there rumblings of a potential Lytle vs. Roy Jones Jr. boxing match, but Lytle has yet to announce any such plans.
