VANCOUVER – Tae Hyun Bang doubled up to win $100,000 in bonus money, and Kajan Johnson and Kiichi Kunimoto each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC 174 event.

Bang and Johnson earned the “Fight of the Night,” while Bang and Kunimoto each won “Performance of the Night” honors.

UFC officials announced the winners at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended.

Bang (17-8 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was on his way to a split decision with Johnson (19-11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), the scorecards revealed after the fight. So he just made sure those cards wouldn’t matter. With one massive right hand, right on the button, Bang knocked Johnson out to end the fight in the third round.

Kunimoto (17-5 MMA, 2-0 UFC) pulled off the night’s biggest upset, tapping out Daniel Sarafian (8-5 MMA, 1-3 UFC) in the first round in the featured bout on the prelims. Sarafian was more than a 5-to-1 favorite in the fight.

UFC 174 took place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and UFC Fight Pass.
