41 minutes with Dana White: UFC boss talks Canadian plans, Fight Pass success and listening to idiots

VANCOUVER – On Friday, UFC President Dana White spoke with a small group of reporters about a number of key topics involving the sport’s biggest promotion. Watch a video of that chat now.

Prior to the chat, White served as a keynote speaker at a Vancouver Board of Trade luncheon at Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency Hotel, where he spoke for nearly an hour. Afterward, he spent another 41 minutes with reporters, including John Morgan and Mike Bohn from MMAjunkie.com.

While the discussion began as a Canadian-centric discourse, one in which the UFC boss made it very clear a main priority in the country was revisiting Calgary to make up for the failure that was UFC 149. But things quickly evolved into a discussion about the future of many UFC fighters and champions, as well as an impassioned chat about the company’s continued growth.
