UFC 172 Drug Tests All Come Back Clean


UFC 172 Fight PosterThe Maryland State Athletic Commission released the results from the UFC 172: Jones vs. Teixeira drug tests  recently, declaring all the fighters on the card clear of illegal substances.

“The Maryland State Athletic Commission (‘Commission’) reports that all professional MMA contestants who competed in UFC 172, held on April 26, 2014 at The Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, tested negative for all drug tests authorized by, and conducted by, the Commission,” stated Patrick Pannella, the Maryland State Athletic Commission’s Executive Director.

UFC 172 took place on April 26 at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Md. UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones defended his title for a record seventh time against Glover Teixeira in the event’s main attraction.

Anthony Johnson returned to the UFC for the first time in two years in the co-main event, defeating top ten ranked Phil Davis.
