The loaded, dual-main card “Cage Warriors 69: Super Saturday” event now has its second title fight.
Jack Hermansson (7-2) and Norman Paraisy (14-3-2) will fight for a middleweight title recently vacated by Jesse Taylor, officials today announced.
Cage Warriors 69 takes place June 7 at The Forum in London. The two main cards stream live and free in North America on MMAjunkie. A few preliminary-card bouts stream on Facebook after a pair of untelevised prelims.
With more than two months separating Cage Warriors 69 and Cage Warriors 70, officials opted to stack January’s card and will put on two main cards.
That opened the door for the Hermansson vs. Paraisy title fight.
Hermansson headed to Cage Warriors after a two-fight stint with Bellator MMA. Back in March, the 25-year-old Swede based out of Norway knocked out Enoc Solves Torres, and just four weeks later, he earned a decision victory over Ion Pascu. The latter bout marked his first-ever decision win after posting stoppages in his first six career victories.
He now meets Paraisy, who’s undefeated (4-0-1) since a Bellator stint of his own. After going 3-1-1 in 2013, the 27-year-old Frenchman kicked off the year in March with a decision victory over Allan Love at Cage Warriors Fight Night 10.
