Video: Bellator 114 highlights with Alexander Shlemenko's choke-out of Ward

Check out the video highlights from Bellator 114, including Alexander Shlemenko‘s 50th career victory – the latest defense of his middleweight title.

In the main event, Shlemenko (50-7 MMA, 11-1 BMMA) struggled in the first-round, but rallied to submit Brennan Ward (9-2 MMA, 5-2 BMMA) with a second-round guillotine choke. It was Shlemenko’s third Bellator middleweight title defense.

Earlier on in the card, Daniel Weichel (33-8 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) moved into the Season 10 featherweight tournament finals with a win over Matt Bessette (13-5 MMA, 4-1 BMMA). He’ll take on Desmond Green (11-2 MMA, 3-1 BMMA), who won his third straight by outpointing Will Martinez (9-3-1 MMA, 5-1 BMMA).

And to open the main card, Brett Cooper (20-9 MMA, 7-4 BMMA) nearly was stopped in the first round by Kendall Grove (20-14 MMA, 1-1 BMMA). But he was saved by the bell and came back in the second to pound the Hawaiian out to reach the middleweight tourney final.
