Danny Castillo has a new opponent for UFC 172.

Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced Wednesday that “Last Call” will now square off against fellow lightweight Charlie Brenneman at the April 26 event, which takes place at Baltimore Arena. The UFC’s inaugural trip to Baltimore is headlined by a light heavyweight title confrontation between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira.

Castillo was originally expected to face Isaac Vallie-Flagg at the event, but Vallie-Flagg was pulled from the contest and instead paired with former Pride Fighting Championships ruler Takanori Gomi.

A six-year pro, Castillo has won five of his last seven bouts but saw a two-fight winning streak snapped in his most recent outing, when he dropped a majority decision to Edson Barboza at UFC on Fox 9. Prior to that setback, the 34-year-old scored unanimous decision wins over Paul Sass and Tim Means to go undefeated in 2013.

Brenneman returned to the Octagon this past January on the heels of four straight victories, but the former welterweight was submitted by promotional newcomer Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 35. “The Spaniard” was bounced from the UFC in 2012 but responded with three submissions in four fights outside the Octagon, winning the Cage Fury Fighting Championships lightweight belt last October.
