Video: Morgan, Erickson break down UFC 169's headlining title fights

NEW YORK – UFC 169 features a pair of championship fights, and ahead of the promotion’s Super Bowl weekend pay-per-view, MMAjunkie takes a look at the two bouts on the top of the bill.

MMAjunkie/USA TODAY lead staff reporter John Morgan and assistant editor Matt Erickson examine the bantamweight title fight main event and featherweight title tilt co-feature – and have differing picks on the outcomes.

Bantamweight champion Renan Barao (31-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) meets Urijah Faber (30-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC) in a rematch, and 145-pound titleholder Jose Aldo (23-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) takes on top contender Ricardo Lamas (13-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC). Morgan and Erickson broke down both fights at Thursday’s UFC 169 media day at Madison Square Garden in New York.
