Video: UFC 168’s Chris Weidman talks to ESPN about getting beat up as a kid

UFC champions: They’re just like us!

It sounds like middleweight king Chris Weidman had his fair share of run-ins with bigger, tougher kids when he was little, too.

Listen to the champ talk about getting beat up when he was a kid – by his brother and his brother’s friends. And hear him talk about, my, how things have changed.

In July, of course, Weidman did some beating up of his own, taking out Anderson Silva to win the UFC’s 185-pound title at UFC 162. Next week, he defends it for the first time in one of the most anticipated rematches in MMA history in the main event of UFC 168.

Check out the video interview above with Weidman on ESPN2's “Highly Questionable” with Dan LeBatard, LeBatard’s father and Bomani Jones.

Then don’t miss UFC 168 on pay-per-view from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
