Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz step into the Octagon for the third time at Saturday night’s The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale in Las Vegas.
In Maynard’s mind, the fight is a means to an end.
“Obviously, I wanna get back at the belt, but I can’t look past Diaz,” he said.
It’s sage advice he’s given himself, considering that they split their first two meetings. Diaz submitted Maynard during their stint on The Ultimate Fighter, while Maynard won a split decision in their rematch at UFC Fight Night 20.
