Omari Akhmedov vs. Thiago Perpetuo

Round 1: Perpetuo takes the center of the cage.  Akhmedov delivers an outside leg kick.  Akhmedov closes the distance and walks into a right hand by Perpetuo that drops him.  Perpetuo follows him to the canvas and lands hammer fists.  Akhmedov covers, gets up and secures a takedown.  Perpetuo gets back to his feet but Akhmedov presses him against the cage.  Akhmedov gets the fight back to the ground but Perpetuo quickly gets back to his feet.  He lands a right hand that staggers Akhmedov.  Akhmedov dives in and takes the fight to the ground.  He takes Perpetuo’s back and works for a rear naked choke.  Perpetuo defends the submission attempt and stands.  He slams Akhmedov to the canvas.  Perpetuo passes to side control.  Akhmedov scrambles to his feet.  Perpetuo chases him and lands a right hand.  Perpetuo continues to run forward and eats a right hand that drops him.  Akhmedov lands another right hand that knocks Perpetuo out.
