Tickets on sale this week for Pettis vs. Thomson at UFC on FOX 9

As a reminder, tickets for Anthony Pettis‘ first title defense as the UFC’s lightweight champion go on sale this week.

UFC on FOX 9, which takes place Dec. 14 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, features Pettis (17-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) vs. Josh Thomson (20-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in the main event.

In addition to that fight, the card features several members of Sacramento’s famed Team Alpha Male as Urijah Faber meets Michael McDonald, Chad Mendes takes on Nik Lentz and Danny Castillo fights Edson Barboza.

UFC officials recently announced tickets go on sale to UFC Fight Club members on Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT. Subscribers to the UFC’s e-newsletter can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. PT on Thursday. And on Friday, the general public can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. PT. Ticket prices range from $50 to $225, plus fees.

The UFC will hold a pre-fight kickoff news conference on Thursday in Sacramento. The event takes place at the Sacramento Kings’ practice facility at Sleep Train Arena and is free and open to the public. Expected to be on hand for the event are UFC President Dana White, Pettis and Thomson, Faber and McDonald, Mendes and Lentz and fellow main card fighters Carlos Condit and Matt Brown, who meet in a critical welterweight bout.
