A middleweight bout between Kenny Ento (13-12 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and British fighter Michael Page (5-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) has been scratched for Bellator 102 following an injury to Page.
Bellator today announced the change via twitter. A replacement opponent was not found for Ento, who most recently fought in July.
Bellator 102 takes place Friday at Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, Calif. The event’s main card, which features tournament bouts in the Season 9 middleweight and heavyweight tournaments, airs live on Spike TV.
The event’s preliminary-card streams on Spike.com, and will now feature six bouts following the scratch of Ento vs. Page.
The undefeated Page works out of the famed London Shootfighters MMA team, which has hosted several top U.K. talents. He most recently fought in April, when he earned his fifth win via submission.
Ento, who’s professional record has him listed at 174 pounds, currently is battling a severe slide, having lost six of his past seven bouts. He holds a notable win over UFC vet Justin Levens.
Bellator 102's full lineup includes:
MAIN CARD (Spike TV, 9 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV, 7:30 p.m. ET)
