The UFC’s next “Fight for the Troops” card will feature 13 bouts, including five on a FOX Sports 1-broadcast main card and four prelims on the same channel.
“UFC Fight Night 31: UFC Fight for the Troops 3? takes place Nov. 6 at Kentucky’s Fort Campbell. Prior to the four-fight prelims and five-fight main card on FOX Sports 1, four bouts will stream on Facebook.
The main card features a main event middleweight bout between former Strikeforce title challenger and Army Bronze Star winner Tim Kennedy (16-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (19-4 MMA, 11-4 UFC), who drops to 185 pounds for the first time.
In addition, the main card also features a women’s bantamweight bout in the co-main event slot as recent title challenger Liz Carmouche (9-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) meets Alexis Davis (14-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
Rounding out the main card, Ronny Markes (14-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) takes on Yoel Romero (5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at middleweight; Jorge Masvidal (25-7 MMA, 2-0 UFC) takes on Rustam Khabilov (16-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in a lightweight bout; and to open the broadcast, a pair of “TUF” winners meet, as Michael Chiesa (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) takes on Colton Smith (3-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC).
The preliminary card on Facebook features a host of notables as Chris Camozzi fights Lorenz Larkin; veteran Yves Edwards meets Yancy Medeiros; Neil Magny fights Seth Baczynski; and Derek Brunson meets UFC newcomer Brian Houston.
