Video: Jon Jones' shocked reaction to Chris Weidman's KO of Anderson Silva

It’s been nearly three months, and it’s still sinking in.

Chris Weidman‘s knockout of longtime middleweight champion and pound-for-pound kingpin Anderson Silva at UFC 162 in July may not have been one of the biggest upsets in MMA history from a numbers standpoint, but it certainly was one of the more shocking outcomes.

That held true even for Silva’s fellow pound-for-pound greats. When “The Spider” was knocked out by Weidman, Jon Jones supplanted him at the top of the list in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com MMA pound-for-pound rankings.

With his hand over his face in near disbelief after seeing Silva dropped, Jones remarked that “none of us are invincible,” something he would get a better idea of this past weekend in the UFC 165 main event, when Alexander Gustafsson did plenty of damage to him and sent him to the hospital, despite the fact Jones walked away with his light heavyweight title around his waist.

Silva, of course, gets a chance to get his middleweight strap back in December in the UFC 168 main event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Check out the video above as Jones is mic’d up for UFC 162 – with a little help from former featherweight champ Urijah Faber.
