The lineup is taking shape for November’s Legacy FC 25 event, and some notable will be part of the fight card.
Legacy FC promoter today confirmed the lineup with MMAjunkie.com. The event takes place Nov. 15 at Houston’s Arena Theatre, and the main card airs on AXS TV.
Legacy FC lightweight and welterweight champion Jorge Patino, who’s riding a seven-fight winning streak, headlines the event against an opponent to be determined. He’s likely to put his lightweight title on the line against the winner of an Oct. 11 fight between Carlos Diego Ferreira (7-0) and Chris Feist (8-0).
In the co-headliner, 2008 Olympic gold-medal wrestler Henry Cejudo (4-0), who’s posted first-round stoppages in all four of his wins since a March 2013 MMA debut, takes on undefeated flyweight Elias Garcia (4-0). Cedujo is also scheduled to fight on Oct. 11 at Legacy FC 24.
Other main-card bouts include welterweights Lester Batres (3-1) vs. Frank Trevino (10-0), welterweights Jonathan Harris (8-3) vs. Artenas Young (9-6), middleweight Jon Kirk (16-12) vs. Larry Crowe (6-3), and welterweights Kaileb Cummins (2-0-1) vs. Charlie Ontiveros (3-1).
The latest Legacy FC 25 lineup includes:
