Miesha Tate: “I Was On a Mission to Prove Dana White Wrong” About Women’s MMA (UFC Video)

UFC president Dana White, for the longest time, said women would never fight in the UFC. Miesha Tate didn’t take that as a slight, she took it as a personal challenge.

“I don’t like to be told know,” she said in a recent episode of UFC Ultimate Insider. “So I was on a mission to show him and prove him wrong. It became a goal and it became a dream and now it’s become a reality.”
