Winning fighters Tyrone Spong ($31,000) and Gerald Harris ($30,000), as well as losing competitor/company president Ray Sefo ($30,000) were the top earners at this past weekend’s World Series of Fighting 4 event.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today obtained the list of disclosed paydays from the California State Athletic Commission.

Sefo, a veteran kickboxer who temporarily stepped down as WSOF president to train for his fight, earned a flat payday of $30,000. Even if victorious over Dave Huckaba, who earned a second-round TKO, Sefo wouldn’t have earned a win bonus.

In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not necessarily reflect entire compensation packages for the event.
