GWC British Invasion Weigh-in Results; Bobby Lashley vs. Matt Larson Headlines PPV

GWC British InvasionGlobal Warrior Challenge launches on Saturday with “British Invasion: U.S. vs. U.K.” The 11-bout fight card takes place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., and airs live on pay-per-view.

The fighters first had to weigh in on Friday. All the fighters made weight and the bout order was finalized.

Former Strikeforce fighter and WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley headlines the card in a heavyweight bout with Matt Larson.

“I think it’s going to be a really exciting fight, but I hope to end it very quickly,” said Lashley after the weigh-in.

The co-main event features former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez, who faces Polish heavyweight Marcin Lazrz.

“It’s going to be a really scrappy fight. He’s a long, lanky guy,” Rodriguez commented. “It’s going to be exciting, and I really think it’s going to be something good for the fans to watch on TV as well as here in Kansas City.”
