WSOF 3 weigh-in results: Josh Burkman and Jon Fitch cleared for rematch

All fighters are on weight for Friday’s WSOF 3 event, including headliners Josh Burkman and Jon Fitch.

The weigh-in festivities took place today at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Friday’s event, which includes a main card on NBC Sports Network and prelims on MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). (International viewers can watch the entire card on MMAjunkie.com.)

Fitch (171 pounds) and Burkman (170), who fought in 2006 under the UFC banner with Fitch earning a submission victory, made weight without issue.

The only fighter who missed on his first attempt was preliminary-card competitor Jeff Smith, who came in four-tenths of a pound over the featherweight limit. He was given additional time to make weight, and World Series of Fighting officials told MMAjunkie.com he made 146 on his second attempt.
