The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale drug tests come back clean

urijah-faber-36.JPGAll 24 fighters who competed at this month’s The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale tested clean for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational drugs/drugs of abuse.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today received the drug-testing results from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the April 13 event at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

The main event saw featherweight champ Urijah Faber defeat friend and former training partner Scott Jorgensen via fourth-round submission.

Additionally, Kelvin Gastelum earned a hard-fought split decision over the heavily favored Uriah Hall to earn the “TUF 17? tournament crown, and promotional newcomer Cat Zingano scored a third-round TKO of Miesha Tate to earn a future shot at UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey, as well as a slot opposite “Rowdy” as coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter 18.”
