It’s no secret that Uriah Hall emerged as the odds-on favorite to win The Ultimate Fighter Season 17. He’s receiving mountains of praise from his coaches, peers, fans, and UFC president Dana White, even drawing some early comparisons to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
Hall is appreciative of all the praise, but he’s also quick to put the brakes on such comparisons.
“I don’t want to live to anybody (else’s) expectations, I have my own,” Hall stated at Thursday’s open workouts.
He’s got expectations that include winning The Ultimate Fighter, but Hall isn’t the type to go out and throw down a bunch of trash talk with his opponents, he subscribes more to the Theodore Roosevelt approach.
“I talk with my fists.”
