Bellator’s eighth season is heading into the home stretch, and appears to have found its audience for its first run on Spike TV.
Bellator 93 took place Thursday night, drawing an audience of 748,000 viewers, according to MMAWeekly.com industry sources. That was nearly identical to Bellator 92’s 741,000, and just below the season’s average of 789,778 viewers per event.
The season has thus far peaked at just over 900,000 viewers for Bellator 91.
Most week’s, Spike shows an immediate replay following the initial live broadcast. It did so for Bellator 93, and it’s interesting to note the strong the replay showings have been.
Bellator 93 drew 394,000 viewers for the replay, which is over 50 percent as many as watched the live broadcast.
