Bellator 92 Attracts 741,000 Viewers to Spike TV for Thursday Night Broadcast

Bellator 92 attracted 741,000 viewers to Spike TV for its initial showing on Thursday night, according to an industry source.

That figure represents a decline from the previous week, as 901,000 people watched Bellator 91, the most since the promotion’s Season 8 debut on Jan. 17. Thurday’s replay drew an additional 311,000 viewers to Spike, bringing the total audience for the four-hour block to 1.052 million.

Bellator 92 took place at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., and featured the semifinals of the organization’s middleweight and featherweight tournaments. In the 185-pound bracket, Doug Marshall earned a controversial split-verdict over Sultan Aliev, while Brett Cooper rallied for a third-round stoppage of Dan Cramer.

Meanwhile, Magomedrasul Khasbulaev scored a third-round technical knockout triumph over Marlon Sandro, and Mike Richman took a split decision against Alexandre Bezerra at 145 pounds.
