Fedor Emelianenko: I still train every day

The legendary MMA fighter and now president of Russian MMA Union, Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko (35–4-0-1 MMA) participated, during his stay in the city of Orenburg, at a press conference in conjunction with the opening of a new sports complex where he gave this interview;

“You have to study everything especially grappling, sambo or BJJ and boxing. By practicing these martial arts a man can achieve big results. I came from sambo to judo and understood that I have to develop myself even more,” the former Pride FC champion said.

You often travel to cities, open federation, gyms, watch how guys compete, but doing this don’t you feel the desire to return to the ring? Don’t you miss your past?

“I finished my career. With regard to competitive activities, already today there are skillful guys who represent our country. As for me, I continue to train every day. I do not compete, but spar regularly,” ended The Last Emperor.
