Anthony Perosh Off of UFC on FX 6 Fight Card with Horrific Broken Toe

Anthony Perosh has been forced off of the UFC on FX 6 fight card on his home soil due to a horrific toe injury.

The injury happened a few days ago and Perosh has already had surgery, according to a report from Australian journalist Adam Ireland.

Ireland tweeted that Perosh suffered a severe broken toe when it got stuck between two mats during training. He already had surgery by the time the report broke, and was scheduled to visit the surgeon for a follow-up with “an aim to be training again in four to six weeks.”

Perosh had been scheduled to face Joey Beltran at the UFC on FX 6 fight card slated for Dec. 15 in Queensland, Australia (Dec. 14 in the U.S. due to the time difference).

UFC on FX 6 is headlined by TUF The Smashes coaches George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson squaring off and will also serve as host to the finals of the series.
