Ratings for the UFC reality show have declined in the weeks since its Sept. 14 premiere, which brought in 947,000 viewers -- the lowest-rated debut in the series’ 7-year history. The second episode drew an audience of 872,000 on Sept. 28.
By comparison, the third episode of “TUF 15” -- also known as “The Ultimate Fighter: Live” -- pulled in an average of 1.2 million viewers when it aired on FX in March.
Last Friday’s episode saw Roy Nelson-coached Joey Rivera earn a majority decision over Shane Carwin charge Sam Alvey in a two-round welterweight bout.
