A new lightweight fight has been added to the upcoming UFC on Fuel 6 card in Macau as Ultimate Fighter winner Mac Danzig faces former Pride champion Takanori Gomi.
Danzig announced the fight via Twitter on Monday.
“I finally have a fight,” wrote Danzig. “I’ll be fighting Takanori Gomi in Macau, China on November 10th.”
Over his last four fights, former Ultimate Fighter winner Mac Danzig has bounced back and forth between wins and losses, but picked up a victory in his last bout against fellow TUF champion Efrain Escudero.
Danzig will face former Pride champion Takanori Gomi, who will look to build on his last fight and win over Eiji Mitsuoka at UFC 144 in Japan.
Gomi has had an up and down career thus far in the UFC going 2-3 overall, but he’ll look to build on his last win as he faces Danzig in China at UFC on Fuel 6.
