When you’re 16-3 as a professional fighter, it wouldn’t seem that you could get much better than you are, but that’s just where Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva finds himself heading into his UFC 146 showdown with former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
He had to take eight months off due to a shoulder injury, but he put his “down time” to good use.
“In eight months, it’s very good for me because I did surgery in my shoulder and fixed the problem,” said Silva. “I learned everything in eight months. I will be better now. I’m 110-percent (healthy).”
Now, he’ll just have to show that come Saturday night.
