UFC on Fuel 4 has undergone a change as British banger Paul Taylor has been forced out of his scheduled fight with Anthony Njokuani on the card.
Sources close to the situation confirmed Taylor’s withdraw to MMAWeekly.com.
The nature of Taylor’s injury that will force him out of his bout with Njokuani remains a mystery at this time.
In addition to Taylor’s removal from the card, a report from Fighter’s Only states that Brazilian Rafael Dos Anjos has been selected as a replacement to step in and face Njokuani on the upcoming card.
Dos Anjos is coming off a win at the UFC on Fuel 3 card just last weekend where he made short work of former WEC lightweight Kamal Shalorus.
This is the second time a fight between Njokuani and Taylor has been nixed.
The first time they were scheduled to fight was at last year’s UFC 138 card, but Taylor was involved in a minor traffic accident the week of the bout and was forced to pull out after sustaining a few injuries in the crash.
