Sherdog.com confirmed the test results Thursday with Marc Ratner, UFC vice president of regulatory affairs. Ratner also verified that every fighter who competed on the card was tested for both performance-enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse.
UFC on Fuel TV 2 marked the promotion’s inaugural trip to Sweden and was headlined by a light heavyweight clash between prospect Alexander Gustafsson and heavy handed Thiago Silva. “The Mauler” consistently beat Silva to the punch April 14 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, cruising to a unanimous decision.
The event was regulated by the Swedish Mixed Martial Arts Federation and also showcased knockout victories for middleweight Brian Stann and welterweight Siyar Bahadurzada. Stann dispatched of Alessio Sakara in the evening’s co-headliner, dropping the Italian with a knee before knocking him cold with a pair of short left hands from guard. Bahadurzada took even less time to finish Paulo Thiago, landing a devastating counter right hook that turned out the Brazilian’s lights in just 42 seconds.
