Fuel TV officials promised more than 2,000 hours of UFC programming in 2012.
Diving in head first on New Year’s Day with a 24-hour UFC marathon, they quickly added preliminary broadcasts, pre- and post-event shows, weigh-ins, and more.
UFC Tonight kicked off the magazine-style programming on Fuel with hosts Todd Harris and Kenny Florian, and now UFC Ultimate Insider becomes part of the mix.
UFC Ultimate Insider kicks off Tuesday night on Fuel TV at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. Hosted by former ESPN broadcaster Jon Anik, UFC Ultimate Insider promises “an all-access pass with unparalleled coverage of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, making it the hardest-hitting sports magazine show ever, bringing you unprecedented access, including in-depth profiles of the UFC’s biggest stars, tell-all features, and compelling backstage footage.”
Tuesday night’s premier episode features an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Chael Sonnen leading up to his fight with Michael Bisping, UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre wired for sound during UFC 143, an interview with Jon Jones, and a look back at the UFC stars that called it quits in 2011.
