Eight fighters have been medically suspended following UFC on Fox 2, including main event competitor Phil Davis.

“Mr. Wonderful” was suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days following his unanimous decision defeat to Rashad Evans at the Jan. 28 event, which took place at the United Center in Chicago.

Middleweight Chris Weidman was also handed a medical suspension after outpointing jiu-jitsu ace Demian Maia to kick off the evening’s broadcast on Fox. The American will be sidelined for 30 days with no contact for three weeks.

Durable big man Joey Beltran was handed the stiffest suspension of the bunch, as the notoriously tough heavyweight must sit out at least 60 days with no contact for 45 days after suffering a first-round knockout defeat to former Strikeforce talent Lavar Johnson. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation confirmed the information on Wednesday, also revealing that the event was attended by 16,963 spectators and earned a live gate of $1,270,960.
