Former UFC and current Strikeforce welterweight Paul Daley gets back in action on Sept. 10 as he returns home to England for his next fight at BAMMA 7.

Daley made the announcement via his Facebook page on Saturday after being reported by The Fight Lounge.

“People of Nottingham, My next fight BAMMA 7, Sept 10th in Birmingham. The fight was on, off, on, off…and now it’s on!” Daley wrote.

Daley has been long rumored for the BAMMA card, but until this weekend, nothing had been settled.

The British slugger returns home and hopes to find some of the same success the last time he competed there. When Daley fought at BAMMA 5, he knocked out Yuya Shirai in less than two minutes.

Since that time, Daley has suffered back-to-back losses while fighting for Strikeforce. A back and forth fight with former welterweight champion Nick Diaz resulted in a TKO loss, and then he fell victim to former Missouri wrestler Tyron Woodley in July.

Daley will try to erase the memories of both of those occasions when he gets back in the BAMMA cage in September.

As far as opponents go, sources have indicated to MMAWeekly.com that a deal should be finalized within the coming days for who Daley will face at BAMMA 7.
