UFC 132 Aftermath: Chris Leben – ‘Wanderlei Silva’s My Favorite Fighter, Always Has Been’

Chris Leben went into UFC 132 with the dream of fighting his hero Wanderlei Silva. When it was over, Leben left Las Vegas with a win over the legendary Pride champion.

After Silva clipped Leben with a punch early, the former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor was angered and unleashed his fury with a series of vicious uppercuts that floored the Brazilian.

Leben followed up with the knockout shots on the ground, and got back on the winning track after suffering a TKO loss of his own to Brian Stann in his last fight.

While he will look back on the night as honored to fight a legend, Leben got a huge win over Wanderlei Silva, and may have been the last opponent ‘The Axe Murderer’ will face in the Octagon.

Check out Chris Leben’s comments following his win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132.
