UFC 132 Aftermath: Tito Ortiz – ‘Rankings Don’t Mean (Bleep), We Saw That Tonight’

What was supposed to be his swan song turned into Tito Ortiz’s grand return to the UFC’s light heavyweight division with a first round submission win over Ryan Bader.

Ortiz didn’t listen to the oddsmakers who made him a 5 to 1 underdog, and he surely didn’t listen to the mass of people saying it would be his last stand in the Octagon.

Instead, Ortiz turned the tables by first knocking Ryan Bader down and then snatching a guillotine choke that gave him his first victory since 2006, silencing the critics and earning his spot in the UFC.

Along the way, Ortiz also picked up $75,000 for ‘Submission of the Night’. Check out Ortiz’s post fight comments after his victory over Ryan Bader at UFC 132.
